Email update

Hello user_wjpcmo thanks so much for taking the time to reach us here via our Xfinity Forums! Updating your communication preferences is simple and easy using the Xfinity App or Web Portal! 

Add or change email

You can change the email address where you get Xfinity account alerts and communications on xfinity.com or the Xfinity app.

To add or change the email address to your account online, follow the steps below:

1. Go to Account Communications.
   • You can also click the Account Icon on the right. Then, select Update Contact Info.
2. Sign in with your Xfinity ID and password.
3. Review the Contact Methods section.
   
   • Note: Individual users on the account can add a personal email address.
4. Choose Add personal email.
   
   • To change an existing email address, choose the address. Then, click Manage email.
5. You will be asked to verify your identity before making this change. You can choose one of two ways:
   
   • Tap a notification in the Xfinity app.
   • Enter a code sent through email or text.
6. Enter your email address. Choose Continue.
   • You will get a code sent to this email.
   • Enter the six-digit code in the boxes and choose Verify.
   • You will get confirmation that your email is verified.
