Can you provide the Xfinity easement rights policy? The link provided is redirecting me to a different link.

@user_29d578 Where is the link directing you? I tried the link, and it directs me to "When an underground cable line needs to be installed or replaced'.

When will the link be fixed? https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/easement-rights-policy

It redirects to “underground cable line” info. Did anyone save a copy of the “easement rights policy” to share? Please provide.

May you provide your question about the policy? Easement rights are a public utility right-of-way that helps Comcast maintain its equipment. In the areas where Comcast has overhead cable lines, the space for the lines is rented from the public utility. For areas where the cable lines are underground, the easement is usually three to five feet in from the sidewalk/roadway or maybe in a backyard. If you’re concerned about the location or the condition of a pole(s), please contact your public utility company. Any easement that may exist on any property is always noted on the title report for that property. The title report is provided to the property owner at the time of the purchase by the title company. @user_29d578

... Did anyone save a copy of the “easement rights policy” to share? ...

Apparently the page was deleted after November 2024. You can see what it looked like then on the Wayback Machine at https://web.archive.org/web/20241109072144/https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/easement-rights-policy. You may need to open that link in a Private Browsing window. I'm afraid you are not likely to find it very helpful.

If the page won't load here's what it said:

Easement rights policy

An easement is another person’s right to use or enter a property of another without owning it. Easement rights are a public utility right-of-way that helps Xfinity maintain its equipment.

Details

In the areas where Xfinity has overhead cable lines, the space for the lines is rented from the public utility.

  • If you’re concerned about the location or the condition of the pole, contact your public utility company.
  • Any easement that may exist on any property is always noted on the title report for that property. The title report is provided to the property owner at the time of the purchase by the title company.

Accessing your property

We attempt to contact the property owner prior to entering any backyard or private property. Even if we can’t make contact, we have the right to access the property to maintain our equipment for both Xfinity customers and non-Xfinity customers.

  • For areas where the cable lines are underground, the easement is usually three to five feet in from the sidewalk/roadway or may be in a backyard.
  • For areas where the cable lines are overhead, Xfinity's lines are usually mounted on poles that may be installed in backyards or on private property.
