early termination fee

I just found out I was duped into a termination fee terms of service in 2025 when requesting a price adjustment and then in 2026 [edited: Inflammatory remarks] into staying with Xfinity because of the $230 price tag to drop them. [edited: Inflammatory remarks] after dealing with a chat agent that terminated my service out of petty spite. Spent hours being [edited: Inflammatory remarks] offered multiple prices for identical service plans and double the price or more for the same service offered to new customers.  WOW

The concern is not "Community Center" help related............ Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_is2qei Thank you so much for stopping in for help with an early termination fee. I can understand how that would be concerning if applied with your knowledge, and I appreciate you reaching out for help. All agreements that have an early termination fee disclose if one is included in the promotion; this is in the customer approval details that you have to approve before the change can be completed.

With that, none of our new promotions have contracts/early termination fees, and if you renewed your promotion or still have service with us, that fee should not apply.

You stated the account was disconnected in error. Were you able to restore your services? If the services were restored, any fee should also have automatically been waived since the account is still active.
