early termination fee
I spoke to an executive office representative yesterday who stated that I have an agreement subject to an early termination fee. When I established service I expressly told the representative that I would not enter into an agreement that includes an etf. When I go to my legal documents / user level agreements there is no contract listed. How do I find out definitively if the representative signed me up for a contract without my knowledge and if so, how much the etf would be?

Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

I called to cancel my service yesterday. What should have been a 20 minute conversation turned into an hour. I just signed a new contract back in May and was promised I could transfer my service to my new home in December- turns out it was unserviceable location. When I called to cancel my what-I-thought-was a year contract turned into two year contract. I called representative and she stated she could "easily waive the early termination fee" after I explained the situation. Then after a hold, she said she couldn't and it would be $130 fee. I asked to speak with her supervisor and was told it would be $170. I explained how upset I was and she started blaming me and was extremely rude. I will NEVER sign up for this horrible service again. I have never been so upset with a company- one I have been using for over 3 years I might add.
