Early AM Cable Service System Refresh

Due to my life's schedule I watch cable television during the early morning hours. Everyday around 3:00 AM a maintenance related system refresh occurs. When this refresh occurs the cable box turns itself off and back on again during an auto-restart process. Half the time this works as intended and it only takes a few moments for everything to reboot properly. The other half of the time brings issues with it. Whenever the system doesn't restart properly I need to unplug/replug both the cable box and the television from their wall outlets to be able to continue watching programming.

Is there something that can be done so that I don't need to deal with unplugging and replugging in the cable box and television?

Thanks for reaching out as a customer myself who stays up late at night I don't like for my TV to perform the daily system refresh so I've actually changed the time so that refresh happens when I'm not awake. You can change that time for when the system refresh updates by going into your settings on your TV  box screen click the Xfinity button go to settings go to preferences go to general,  Scroll down to you see daily “update time” click on that and change it for a time when they're not watching TV
