Dvr issues

All of a sudden, I’ve noticed that a lot of programs on my DVR were randomly deleted and even though I have much less stuff on my DVR now my storage percentage has gone up. Anybody know what’s causing this?

Hi user_fsxyg3, thanks for coming to our Forum for help with your DVR issues. I record a ton, so I would be pretty annoyed to find missing recordings. Let's roll up our sleeves and get this figured out, I have your back every step of the way. Did you recently make a change to your services? Do you know if the recordings that are missing were saved locally or to your Cloud DVR?

No and I am not working for you any more. Just venting my displeasure with the worst company I have ever dealt with. Techs can't fix it so I wait for an in house appointment Sunday.

Some were saved to the cloud and some were locally but it’s a noticeable difference in the amount of storage I have now

To send a direct message:

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I am having similar issues. I schedule recordings and it records but they completely dissapear within twenty four hours. Been on the phone for hours, guarantee it's fixed day after day but in true Comcast form it is not.
