Drop CBS

I am NOT happy about the Scripps dispute and losing channels. You jack up my rate every year an now I’m expected to pay for another service to watch local? This is ridiculous. I am finally going to cut my cable if this is not resolved ASAP. Also I should be CREDITED for not having what you said I would.

the fact that I cannot even speak to a human on the phone is absurd.

user_gv9ak9, Hi there! Thanks for taking the time out of your Tuesday to visit our forums page. I can understand how frustrating this is, and I’m sorry for the impact this has had on your service. Losing expected local channels on top of rate increases is understandably upsetting. Thanks for reaching out about the loss of channels owned by E.W. Scripps. This programming is currently unavailable because Comcast’s agreement with the network has expired. Comcast pays programmers to deliver the content you enjoy, and multiple reasonable offers have been made that they haven’t accepted. We’re working to bring this back, but only with fair pricing and terms for customers.

I apologize for the inconvenience this has caused. We are the right team of experts to help over social media. If you’d like, while these discussions continue, I’d also like to make sure you’re aware of any available options, whether that’s reviewing your current package or exploring temporary alternatives. More info here.

This is ridiculous to put it nicely. The amount of money spent for service continues to increase and to have to deal with these companies acting like spoiled children is mind numbing. We've been told to go to other streaming/options while this happens which is silly. I'm not gonna pay for other services on top of what I already have. Figure it out!
