Drag and drop emails to other folders does not work today

What did you all change?  Please fix it so I can drag and drop emails into other folders again.  It worked yesterday.  Now it is not working again.

What did you all change?  Please fix it so I can drag and drop emails into other folders again.  It worked yesterday.  Now it is not working again.

Are you sure the folder is highlighted when you attempt to drop emails into it?  Sometimes when I am in a hurry, I miss the folder and "highlight" the empty space between two folders.  Of course, the emails go nowhere quickly.

Hi @user_b1321b, Welcome to the community. I am sorry to hear the drag and drop feature is not working with your email. From personal experience, I can understand your headache. I did look to see if a known issue is causing the problem, but I am not seeing anything at this moment. Our team would be happy to help. What browser do you use to access your email? Have you cleared cache and cookies? Have you tried a different device for troubleshooting purposes?

 

While we investigate, you can continue moving your emails this way:


1. Check the box next to the message you want to move.
2. Click the three horizontal lines from the Email Toolbar to locate the Move icon.
3. Select the folder you'd like to move the message.

@XfinityAnna   Thank you for responding.  It seemed to fix itself after awhile.  I had to speed up my sweep otherwise the mail would open.  So something is working now.   Thank you for giving me the work around that helps for when this happens.  This isn't the first time.  I'm not sure what causes this problem.
