Downgrading internet plan
I have been hoping to downgrade my home internet plan as it is getting too expensive. I tried clicking on the "change speed" option, but it only lets me add more to my current plan. I just want a downgrade and to make sure that my plan is internet-only.

Hello, I am also facing the same issue, where I can only add more to my current plan, even though I want to choose a less expensive option and downgrade. Please respond with next steps. I have looked at other forum pages and can't find the "direct messaging" feature to send a private message to Xfinity Support.
I can't seem to find the direct message icon as per these instructions:
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

I cannot find a place on the website to downgrade my internet speed. I can only add to my current plan. Is there a way to just change the internet speed?
