Downgrade service

I am looking to downgraded our server to 1 gig plus streaming. Is it best to just go into store? Whenever i call, they are very tough to deal with as they just want to put you in different packages.

We can make any account changes right from here for you. Did you want to go with the $110 Gigabit package that was offered? What date did you want that to take effect?

thanks for the quick reply. I was hoping to get a promotion price but no biggie. I could get a better deal with Verizon but ive always had luck with Comcast. Yes i was looking at the 1 gig plan with Hulu, peacock, etc. I think it was $100 if auto pay?(is that the total cost?)  I dont need the equipment. I prefer my modem and router if possible. They are up to date. I want to cancel my landline and tv service (and return my 2 boxes). We can do the switch whenever. If its easier to switch at the end of the billing month, that alone as well

The current amount due on the account is for service from 4/30 to 5/29, so I can set this order up for today if needed. The corrected billing would have a credit for the service from 4/23 to 4/29 that way. The reason the only offer we had is for an everyday price service is because you are downgrading your current service. You will qualify for promotional pricing in the near future. That package is $100 with auto-pay and includes the free Disney+/Hulu deal as well as the Peacock Premium service and a free 12-month unlimited Mobile line if that will save you on your monthly expenses too.

Could we just set it up for the 29th? That way my wife can finish her dvr recordings😂unless you think it is easier to do tomorrow? dont need the mobile line. Do i return our boxes to the xfinity store?
