Storm-damaged Comcast/Xfinity line – [EDITED: Personal Information]
I’m trying to report what appears to be a Comcast/Xfinity communications line that is down and supporting the weight of a storm-damaged tree in my backyard and in front of my house following this weekend’s microburst.
PECO has already inspected the scene and confirmed the line is not an electric utility line. Verizon has also confirmed it is not their infrastructure. Both directed me to Comcast/Xfinity.
I have been unable to find an emergency phone number or a way to report this to a live representative.
The line is attached to a tree that remains unstable after the storm. While there is currently no electrical hazard, it presents a public safety concern and needs to be inspected and removed as soon as possible.
If anyone from Comcast/Xfinity can assist or direct me to the appropriate emergency response team, I would greatly appreciate it.
