Downed cable wire technicians are no show

I have my cable line down in my backyard after a storm. It has been lying there for 6 days. I had a appt for a technician to come fix it. They were scheduled for Thursday April 3 between 9-3:00. When no one showed I called xfinity support and they said I had an appt for Sunday April 6. No one called to let me know it was rescheduled. In this xfinity app I don’t see anything scheduled. This is ridiculous. So frustrated with this service. How can I be sure of any service calls when I am lied to.

Hi user_2k8d2l, I hope your family and home are ok after that storm, it sounds like it was a pretty rough one. Those missed expectations are always tough to deal with, so I totally understand your reaction. This type of work does require specialized techs, and those jobs are worked as they're scheduled. They're all day arrival windows, and there can be delays if previous jobs require additional time. I would like to make sure we're on the same page, that way I help you the best way possible. Is your service being impacted by the downed line? If so, then we would need a tech visit to restore your service first, and then that tech would create the work order to raise the line.
