downed cable lines
We have been calling since last Tuesday. Each day I am told that they will be out between 8AM-8PM but no one comes out. It is now the following Monday. The wires are still down. I called everyday and chatted the last three days. They tell me the same thing but no one comes out. It's been 7 days now. Someone is going to run into these wires. That will be Xfinity's fault for not coming to get them fixed. Entergy got out here in 12 hours to fix their wires. Wires were hit by a falling branch in a storm. Someone needs to get out her ASAP and fix the wires.
Update: A technician finally came down--it took him about 20 minutes (if even that) to fix. He said the customer service agents should not tell people someone will be out on the same day. He says it takes between 7 - 14 days to respond to a down cable line. A supervisor at Xfinity at one of the stores also said the same thing when we called her.
