Don't trust anyone from Xfinity

My husband and I recently had to move and went to store to talk about the options we have. The service representative there told us, that we can just cancel our plan and won't have to pay any fees because we are moving out of the service area. So we decided to do so. A few weeks later we got a bill incoming that we have to pay an early cancellation fee even though we got told we don't have to! I contacted Xfinity multiple times to explain the situation and that we would have decided differently if we would have known that we had to pay a fee. In my opinion the workers there are full [Edited: "Language"] and don't know what they are talking about. I wish they would be more open minded and trying to find a solution for a problem caused by one of their workers! I would recommend everyone to stay away from Xfinity!

I do want to thank you so much for taking the time out of your day to reach out through our Forums Channel. With your term agreement, the customer approval includes the terms and conditions of an early termination fee. Each month you have the services the Early Termination Fee will reduce by $10. You would only be charged an Early Termination Fee if you were to disconnect your services within the term agreement. The agreement also includes that if you cancel Service because you move your residence to a location outside of a Comcast serviceable area, you will be charged the early termination fee for the remaining term of the Agreement. The fee is a valid charge on the account since you moved outside of the service area.

I am here to review your billing or any additional questions about your account with you. Please send me a Direct Message with your name and service address so that I can fully dive into this for you! I will leave you instructions on how to initiate the message with us! I look forward to working with you soon!
