Don’t have access to the phone number

I left the United States and have no access to my phone number I am registered to Xfinity. The person that wants to hand back the modem is not able to do it without me,  but I can’t log in, cause I can’t get a code to log in using American phone number, and can’t call to US and can’t fly back to the States as well! I have a friend who can hand the modem back to the Xfinity office! Help! Urgent!

Thanks for reaching out to us anybody can return Xfinity equipment for you they just can't get any information about the account all they have to do is take it to the Xfinity store, all our equipment has serial numbers that are attached to your account so we know which account it came from and can remove it once it's returned

Thanks for clarifying, for us to authenticate your account over social media we must be able to send you a text message or an e-mail To the cell number or e-mail address you have on file,  that'll have a code for you to give to us to finalize the authentication.  I'll be happy to assist you with cancelling your account if we can fully authenticate it to get started go ahead and send me a direct message including your first and last name and complete service address

Here's the detailed steps to direct message us:

  • Click "Sign In" if necessary
  • Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page)
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send your message
