Does migrating the Primary Email Acct to Yahoo block access to other Comcast.net email accounts?

My primary email account received an email inviting the migration to Yahoo. Before I do that, and since I will no longer be able to log into Xfinity, how do I retain access to the other email accounts under the primary accounts 'umbrella'?

BTW, I tried many times but Xfinity Assistant cannot answer this question, or any question, for that matter. The 855-206-1261 number provided on the Yahoo Migration Help page will not connect me to a human for clarification.

To complicate matters further, several of my 'recovery email' accounts were hacked past summer. This primary account has been the single replacement account. I need to make sure the migration is seamless and all files/emails are migrated over.

Thank you for reaching out to our team. All active comcast.net email accounts will have the option to upgrade to the Yahoo Mail. An email account is considered active if it has been signed in to within the past two years.

As of today, we have 5 comcast.net emails. Logically, all 5 should be transferrable as they have all been used this year.

We've only received notification to migrate two email accounts...one of which was CLOSED DOWN more than a year ago. So, really, we only have notification for one viable email account (the PRIMARY master email account).

To be safe, I'll transfer the others email accounts first and shift the primary one last.

How long are we expected to wait for email data to be transferred to Yahoo? I've seen several messages mentioning they are still waiting.

... since I will no longer be able to log into Xfinity ...

You will still be able to log in to Comcast/Xfinity and manage secondary accounts. You just won't be able to log in to Comcast/Xfinity webmail.

AFAIK Yahoo does not have anything like a Primary account concept -- all email accounts are independent. The only way to access other accounts is by logging in with their UserID and password.

Ok, I did expect to have to transfer each email account separately to Yahoo.com.

My concern was that migrating the PRIMARY comcast.net email account would block its availability and my ability to access the other comcast.net email accounts.

You CAN access a Yahoo account from a different account, by selecting the "..." (More) item, then Settings, then Mailboxes, then Add. Then select the kind account you want to access and enter its UserId and password.
