DOCSIS4.0 Technology Rollout
How soon will DOCSIS4.0 technology rollout to all households in the Philadelphia area? Will they have to pay more for the DOCSIS4.0 gateway rental? Will legacy DOCSIS3.1 users get a speed increase at no additional cost?

I see you have questions about the announcement we made regarding the plans for the DOCSIS 4.0 Deployment in certain regions which you can read more about here https://corporate.comcast.com/press/releases/comcast-multi-gig-symmetrical-speeds-world-first-docsis-4-deployment. We also have a great overview here https://www.xfinity.com/learn/internet-service/xclass that covers a lot of your questions in the FAQs section. Based on the announcement, I don't have a definitive date as it will vary by location as we made the upgraded needed. I also didn't see anything stated about DOCSIS 3.1 customers and their plans to be upfront, but this could change as we announce more updates in the future.
