DOCSIS 4.0 Full Duplex (FDX) Service

I need an address-level DOCSIS 4.0 Full Duplex (FDX) serviceability verification, not a general internet speed troubleshooting response.

My Xfinity account advertises 1 Gbps download and 1 Gbps upload. I recently replaced my XB7 with an XB10 DOCSIS 4.0 gateway, but both gateways deliver approximately 950 Mbps download and only 100 Mbps upload.

I understand from Xfinity Community Forum discussions that there is specific address-level coding that identifies whether DOCSIS 4.0 FDX is actually enabled at a service address.

Could your team please:

  1. Check the address-level FDX/X-Class eligibility and serviceability codes for my exact address.

  2. Confirm whether my neighborhood's cable node has been upgraded and activated for DOCSIS 4.0 Full Duplex.

  3. Verify whether my XB10 is assigned a 1000/100 or 1000/1000 provisioning profile.

  4. Determine whether there is a discrepancy between my advertised 1 Gig symmetrical plan and the actual network capabilities at my location.

If the network is not DOCSIS 4.0 ready, please confirm that explicitly and let me know whether an upgrade notification is available.

Please escalate to the appropriate network provisioning or engineering team if necessary.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

plabrie61 My team is happy to help! Can you please confirm your plan speeds from the Xfinity app or online? I just want to make sure that your plan says for 1Gb download as well as upload since that is the main concern. Could you also try this link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/my-account-find-contract as it should show your plan details as well.

Speedtest at the gateway shows ~930Mbps down and ~125Mbps up.

I used the link provided and my plan shows 1G down / 1G up.

Thank you for your help.
