Do you actually have live people still working there?

I've just about had it with xfinity customer service. I tried contacting someone last month when my bill went up. I tried the chat function first and spent 30 minutes going round and round with a bot, never getting to an actual human being. I then tried calling. Again, round and round with the automated system, this time for 45 minutes. There was no way to get out of the automated menu. Then a few weeks ago we get a call out of the blue from someone saying they're from Xfinity and have an offer for us to lower our bill. This gentlemen had a very heavy accent which is typical these days but when he started asking us a million questions.....social security numbers, birthdates, addresses (you called me, how do you not already have our address??) we got worried that it was some kind of scam. When we told him we would not give him my SSN and birthdate he got pretty indignant and pushy. We ended up hanging up on him. If xfinity has a deal for us, then just give it to us!

So today I again tried contacting someone.....if nothing else just to see if that guy was legit. AGAIN, 20 minutes of [Edited: "Language"] on chat and 20 minutes on the phone.

We've put up with Comcast and xfinity's [Edited: "Language"] customer service for years, mainly because they were all that was available to us but that's changed. We have at least 2 other carriers in the area so time to change.

Thank you for reaching out here @user_fyw16r. That is definitely not the experience we would like you to have, and I would be happy to look at any account question you have. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?

To send a direct message [private message]:

Click the "Direct Message" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

   - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

   - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

   Press Enter to send it

There is no Direct message icon and the link provided does not bring me to Direct messaging.
