Do NOT Want Equipment Upgrade!!
I just had a new phone/internet modem installed by a technician on July 7. It is working great now after struggling with it since February. Yesterday 8/6/24 I received an email from xfinity offering to upgrade my equipment to get faster internet. Do they not know that I just got an upgrade a month ago?! I don't want to go through that [Edited: Language] again! It's working great now! LEAVE IT ALONE!!
If Comcast/Xfinity forces this upgrade on me I SWEAR I will drop them and go with Verizon or Direct TV or something. I mean it. Check your [Edited: Language] records for once to see I just upgraded a month ago. LEAVE IT ALONE!!!!!

@user_xjdyo2, hello! Thank you for taking the time to make a post in our Customer Service board. I am glad to hear that your services are working well now! Generally, when you get that email it means that the tier of internet you are subscribed to no longer supports the model of wireless gateway you have. I would love the opportunity to check out what you have to make sure you are good to go. We can also look at different offers to match the equipment you have as well. Please, send a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address, so we can take a quick peek.
Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:
• Click "Sign In" if necessary
•Click the "Direct Message” icon (upper right corner of this page) or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
•Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
•Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list
•Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
•Press Enter to send your message
