Do I Have Symmetrical 2GB Upload Speeds in My Area?
I think Xfinity has completed the network upgrade in my area as I can see that I can now select a 2gb asymmetric plan for my account, whereas before 1.2GB was the fastest I could select. However, with that plan it states typical upload speeds are 293 mbps. That's significantly faster than my current 40, but not the 2gb speeds offered with symmetric X2 plans. Is it a matter of DOCSIS 4.0 modems not currently being widely available or is 293mbps the fastest I can expect to get in the foreseeable future?

@mgreer316 Good question and thanks for posting. This https://www.xfinity.com/broadband-labels page will show what the location or address you enter should have for both download and upload speeds. From there you want to verify if your equipment can reach those speeds. Check all the modems that can reach the enhanced upload speeds here https://www.xfinity.com/support/internet/customerowned. X-Class Internet (X-300, X-500, X-Gig, X-2Gig) offers equally fast upload and download speeds above 200 Mbps. These speeds are available in limited areas, and customer-owned modems are not currently compatible with X-Class speeds.
