Dishonest business practices.
Not honoring a credit that was supposed to be applied to my account due to all of the inaccuracies and total confusion, disregard for a long time customer. Xfinity had closed out an old account after I moved into a new residence and literally mishandled the closure and my cell number I had for years was lost. Had to set up a new mobile account and get a new number, nearly 11 years with the old number gone. Then I started reaching out to my clients and gave them my new number. Ironically I was still being billed for both accounts, monthly.
A smart watch and cell phone that I had ordered was sent to the old address. Even though there was a ticket number in place to safeguard the delivery and prevent the shipping department in Oregan from sending these orders to the old address. They disregarded the ticket number and sent those two orders to the old address anyway. I never received them and never received the refund. On May 8 2026, I tried to place a hold on those orders with the Fed X on M street, Fresno CA.
I contacted the manager of that facility and he said they were never received at there location and may have been delivered or are missing. I have been told by numerous reps from Xfinity that I will receive the refunds for phone, watch, double billing and will receive the internet credit. The internet credit of $132.73 with the $239.15 for the cell $55.65, Smart watch $29.54, old cell phone account $79.48 charged 6/4/26,
Old cell phone account $74.48 charged 5/5/26. I was told by a phone representative Rose on 6/25/26 not to worry that the charges will be refunded and back in my account within a few days. Never received the refund. Another Rep on 6/25/26 also stated that if I pay $127.19 on my closing bill for the internet account that he would issue a credit for the remaining balance of $132.73. That credit was not honored and now I am receiving threats of balance being sent to collections. Think this is confusing, oh no I have many more documented calls. Over 70 hours trying to get this straightened out. I even went to the Xfinity store in the River Park shopping center here in Fresno, CA. Twice. They assured me that this issue had been escalated to a higher level and give them time to resolve it. That was a month ago, no one has reached out to me via text or email, no phone call, NADA!
I have already filed a complaint with the FCC, not stopping there, next will be the Attorney General’s Office and the CFPB, The BBB. Then 47 on your side etc.
Due to all that the representatives had put me through, I had to cancel my internet service after 11 years of promoting Xfinity to everyone I know because I have completely lost confidence in their ability to provide these services. I do not appreciate dishonesty and I am a Realtor myself who practices what I preach. This is was one sleeping giant that you should not have poked!
Come on Xfinity get on your game and FIX THIS!
