Disappointment Over Loss of NFL Network & RedZone — Considering Leaving Xfinity

I’ve been a loyal customer of for years, largely because of access to NFL Network and RedZone. Losing those channels is extremely disappointing and makes me question the value of staying.

This is a big part of why I’ve continued paying for your service, and without it, I’m seriously considering exploring other providers that offer what I actually watch. Xfinity should be doing more to keep their customers happy, especially when it comes to key channels like these.

I’m undecided whether to wait and see if this gets resolved, but it may be time for me to move on.

I watched the NFL Network almost everyday.  To have it gone without notice was a surprise.

This was after I tried to sign on to my e-mail account and was told I now had to go to Yahoo to get my e-mail.

Yesterday my TV service kept stopping or tiling - 3 different stations - 2 different TV's

This make me wonder about Xfinity's commitment to it's customers and for the first time in over 40 years I am looking into other providers.

@user_7tluqw Thanks for reaching out about NFL programming. The agreement to carry NFL Network expired, so it’s no longer available with Xfinity. This includes NFL RedZone and any related Xfinity Stream and On Demand programming.

Please know Comcast pays programmers to bring you the entertainment you love, and, so far, Disney/ESPN has not proposed a deal that Comcast believes is fair for its customers. Comcast continues to work toward bringing back this programming, but only with fair pricing, terms, and conditions for its customers.

I know unexpected changes to your TV lineup can be inconvenient. Thank you for understanding. For more information, you can visit www.xfinity.com/programmingchanges.

Comcast has ZERO leverage here... If this issue is not resolved by the start of football season, Comcast has lost my business. End of story.

if I were Disney, the price that Comcast must pay is increasing with each passing day.

If Xfinity doesn't get their [Edited: "Language"] together, I'm leaving.  First of all, we haven't had our NBC affiliate for over 6 weeks because of a contract dispute, and now we have this where we aren't getting NFL Network or RedZone.  I've been a loyal customer since 1997, but I'm getting tired of this.  Either give me the channels I'm paying for or I'm getting rid of you!!!

If I am paying for a sports package that includes NFL Network do I get a discount for the months that the NFL Network is unavailable?  I mean, let’s be honest…NFL Network is the only reason to purchase that tier of channels.

ESPN  it’s not the same, Good Morning Football is not on ESPN.  I have watched this show every morning since the show’s inception.  This is how I start my mornings.  I watch football, I don’t watch baseball. I do not watch tennis. I do not watch basketball.  I watch football. I wanna know what’s happening in the NFL.  That’s what I care about.  During the football season, I watch NFL Redzone.  That is unavailable right now too.

I’ve been a loyal customer to Xfinity, even when they have made things less convenient for me like taking away my Xfinity app that I used to be able to control the TV with, But I hung in there because I was able to get the channels that mattered to me. Now I don’t have the app and I do not have the channels that matter to me and I am paying more than I would be with any other service.  Someone give me one good reason why I should stay with Xfinity.
