Digging in my yard

I had a crew spray paint 4 lines in my yard after I was told they wouldn’t. My new sod is dead. I called to find out if there is a dig ticket and there is not. I’m told by law there must be one. I need to talk to someone immediately

Thanks for reaching out to us. You'd have to reach out to 811 dig as they are the company and team that does the underground and utility markings on the customer's property.

I already contacted 811 and there has been no ticket made for the last year. I need to speak to someone ASAP or we are going to have problems

I understand your concern, but Xfinity doesn't come out and mark properties for underground cable lines or utility lines, that is strictly from 811.

So, unless you have an issue with a buried cable issue that has caused damage to your yard,  we wouldn't be able to help you.

If the damage was only caused by the paint that is used by the 811 team that marks the underground utilities that would be something you would need to address with 811

Like I stated, 811 has no ticket for my yard. However, it was your company replacing a line so yes, it is an issue with xfinity
