Didn't get Chat transcript as proof of what I was told

Yesterday I spent time changing my plan via Chat. When I'd finished, I clicked on the link to have the transcript emailed to me, but it never arrived in my email. (Yes, I've checked my spam folder.)

My concern is this: The person helping me encouraged me to use the coupon to get the free Apple watch, and told me I'd have to add another line in order to use it. When I asked how long I'd have to keep the line, I was told that there is no contract period and that I could cancel it at any time, and the watch would still be mine to keep at no charge. I verified that several times and was always given the same answer - cancel any time, keep the watch - which is why I wanted the transcript.

So now the watch has arrived and I'd love to use it, but am asking again for clarification because I don't want or need a second line, but if the watch is mine to keep, I'd love to have the watch.

Where is my Chat transcript and why didn't it get emailed to me, and can I cancel the line and keep the watch?
