Denied phone financing
Today I went to activate a line and finance a phone through Xfinity. I got to the last step and was denied a financing a phone. I don’t understand because I have a 700 plus credit score with all three credit bureaus, 100% payment history for the life of my credit, 0 derogatory remarks, good credit utilization, one open auto loan and make 70k a year. My credit profile is considered above average and I switched carriers partially because I wanted to upgrade my phone that I now apparently can’t get. I find it har to believe everyone that finances a phone through Xfinity has a better credit prog than that. Please help me understand, this has to be an error.

Have you tried calling or texting 1 (888) 936-4968, or reached out to our secure online chat at https://comca.st/3O35ebc where an Xfinity Mobile expert is available 24/7?

I was denied free IPhone SE,s for my husband and I…our credit scores are 801 and 743 with Experian….don’t tell me to call the 888 number because I already did and was told they saw no problem with our. Reddit when they again searched our SS numbers. Do you give your store employees an incentive to deny people that are truly eligible? We did just had your internet/ cable installed because of the bundle you were offering with mobile service….now rethinking our decision and will be looking for other service.

Your store employee recently told us we were eligible for your recent special about free IPhone SE! Although we were approved for internet and cable we did not pass a. Refit check for the phone offer. We were given a goof price for phone/internet/cable, but now that we were denied mobile service with the free phone offer we are paying more than we planned. Checked with Experian, our. Refit scores are 743 and 801…and that’s not good enough? Please don’t tell me to call your 888 number, already did and was told they had no idea what the issue with our credit was after verify our SS numbers. Do you give your employee’s incentives not to approve free phone offers for people with excellent credit? We are now looking to change to a company.
