Deleted Channels
I have had numerous conversations with your customer service dept the last couple of years and I never get a satisfactory answer. We used to have Cinemax and Starz included in our package and for the last couple of years the channels have not been available. I have called many times and I always get the same answer - they are not included in your package. When I go into my channel lineup, it shows both Cinemax and Starz in our channel lineup, but when I try to watch the channels, it says I need to subscribe to them. It's been this way for several years now and yet, the rep tonight, told me that Starz was just deleted in October. She didn't know how long Cinemax had been available as subscription only. Previously we had added all of the movie channels individually and had paid for each one of them. Somewhere along the line, you decided to delete them from our account, with no notice, with no credit to our account, which means for several years, we haven't been able to get two $12 channels, so essentially Comcast has cheated us out of $24 per month for several years. In addition, when I go into your 24+ channel plan, as a potential customer, it shows Starz included in the plan. If it isn't available, then isn't that false advertising.
We've been loyal Comcast customers at this address for 28 1/2 years and for 9 1/2 years at our previous address. We've always subscribed to just about every channel available, but we have less channels now and pay far more than we used to.
We are considering changing our current services and perhaps getting rid of cable TV altogether. Can you tell me what you have given us, in return for taking channels away, as added benefits or additional channels? What about Disney +? Verizon customers have it now. When will Comcast offer it and will there be an additional charge for it. What about Discovery +, which has just launched? Will we be able to get it and will it cost to add it?
I would appreciate a reply. Your customer service isn't bad, but they give standard answers and really can't go beyond their standard information.
