Delay in getting internet connection

I have been waiting for almost 3 months for Comcast to connect internet to my house in the city of Santa Fe. Flags marking the location of power lines have been placed on my curb and it looks like a portion of the street has been dug up and repaired as of running a cable. Appointments to connect have been promised several times but nobody showed up; calls from supervisors have been promised but no one called; I’ve spoken with  Comcast support at least 10 times but no one can tell me why there is such a long delay; escalation has been promised by hasn’t happened. Xfinity assistant says that marker flags will be placed soon but the flags haves been there already for weeks; at one time the assistant said that a tech was turning into my driveway, but that was false. We have been Comcast customers for decades in other cities. Why won’t Comcast tell us what’s going on, why won’t they hook us up?

The concern is not "E-mail" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
