Deceptive Tactics – Read the Fine Print!

I am extremely frustrated with Xfinity’s sales tactics and would never recommend them. Their representative used misleading information just to lock us into a long-term contract.
The Issue:
  • The Bait: The salesperson heavily pushed a $200 gift card to get us to sign a 5-year agreement.
  • The Trap: The rep never mentioned that the gift card expires in just 6 months.
  • The Result: The card expired, and Xfinity completely refuses to honor it.
Yes, I should have read every line of the fine print. However, good companies don't intentionally hide critical expiration dates from customers. Omitting this information feels like a deliberate strategy to cheat people out of promised incentives.
Save yourself the headache. I will never refer a friend to a business that relies on sneaky tactics to trick customers.

Hi there @user_whh9ok Thank you so much for reaching out on our Xfinity Community Forum.  I can assure you that is not the experience we want for you as a valued Xfinity customer.  I'll be happy to assist.  Did the rep state there would be no expiration date associated with the gift card?
