December 2024 over usage charge

I am build an over usage charge in December but the invoice also says that I have used my one time free over usage charge but there is no way to learn when that free over usage was used. Also, how can I determine what that over usage was without having granular information about daily usage. Is there some way to see daily  usage in December.

HJC001 Hi there! I am glad you reached out. I am happy to review your overage charges and provide details on when your courtesy adjustment was used. As far as reviewing your usage here are the details on accessing that information.
 
To view your daily Xfinity internet usage, you can: 
 
  1. Sign in to your Xfinity account
  2. Go to the Devices page
  3. Find the Data Usage Overview section
  4. View your usage

To get started, please use the chat icon in the upper right to enter Direct Messaging and send us a message with your full name and full address.

 

 Here are the detailed steps to direct message us:

• Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "direct messaging" icon (upper right corner of this page)

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the to line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send your message

Please read the original message and after you read that message, answer this question:  What month was the free over usage used?
Then answer the second question: How can I determine what that over usage was in December or when in December it happened without having granular information about daily usage?
Then answer the third question: Where may I view the daily data usage in December?

HJC001, To accurately answer your question about when the courtesy month was used, I would need to move us into a private conversation where we can discuss your account in more detail. You can find your data usage online using the Xfinity App, which you can read about here: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/data-usage-usage-history. The app may limit what you can see for prior months, but we can cover this in details over a private message as well.
