Deceit and false promises.
Did you know that when you post on here and select the category “scam” It automatically kicks you off and tells you there has been an issue with the page.
In January 2020 25 we transferred three lines from Verizon to Xfinity, purchasing a new iWatch and a new phone, all because they had a buyout program where you would be refunded 100% once you submit paperwork that your Verizon bill had a zero balance.
I have been given the runaround regarding this since February. I have notes from every discussion, having spoken to 17 different agents. Each time I was lied to with an assurance that they will get this resolved.
At one point I reached somebody who said there is no record of me submitting paperwork, and that I will need to submit it again. I was given an estimated time in which I could expect my rebate, but after a month of receiving nothing I called again, tonight.
The customer service agent told me there are no notes on my profile/account that show I have spoken to anybody about this, except one time in the beginning of the year.
This last customer service agent told me that Xfinity has been deducting $10 a month from my bill, which is supposed to be this rebate offer. This is not what we were told. We were expressly told that we will be receiving a virtual credit card for the full amount. The agent said will put in an expedited ticket, and less than two hours later I got a text saying my ticket has been denied and it is now closed.
[Edited: "Inflammatory"]
these big companies certainly do not show any concern over their customers. There is nothing but deceit and dishonesty when it comes to large companies like Xfinity.
I have not yet decided what I’m going to do next but I will report them to the BBB and on every social media platform I will tell my story. these companies count on us being worn out and broken down after months of struggling, as this is the only way they can make money.
Xfinity, I might not be the one to bring you to your knees, but it will happen.

Thank you for reaching out here @user_9bi4qz. I would be happy to look into any billing issues from here for you. Could you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
To send a direct message [private message]:
Click the "Direct Message" icon or https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
