Dead box after lighting strike, trying to get replaced

Lightning strike 30 feet from the house on Sunday.

It is Wednesday now.  ~6 calls to the 'bot, and a couple with Xfinity assistant.

The box is dead.  No lights at any time, no heat after being left plugged in, no noise.

I have plugged into a different outlet, and have actually moved it to the other room and tried the power supply from the other still-working box.  It's dead as a doornail.    My cable modem also continues to work just fine.  The TV it is attached to the box is fine, runs Netflix, Amazon, Disney, Youtube apps with no problems, and happily notes there is no signal on the port the X1 is attached to.   As far as anything related to Comcast, the issue is only with this one box.

I do now have an appointment for a service call next Tuesday... which will be 9 days after my first call to Comcast for this issue.

Sending a human for a service call seems like a rather expensive way for Comcast to solve a straightforward issue.

I really just need a new box shipped to me, ideally in less than a week.    Can someone here help with that?

@user_n0uqtc I'm terribly sorry to hear that the box stopped working after the storm, and hope that all else is safe. We can help to have a replacement box shipped to you, and I also wanted you to know that you can bring the box to a local Xfinity Store to swap out as well (if a location is nearby, of course). if you'd prefer a shipment, it will take a few business days to arrive, but we are here to help. Please send our team a direct message with your full name and address.

Thank you, I'll engage via DM to get a box shipped.

We do have a local store, but prior experience has made me unwilling to walk in that door again.
