Data Breach & Unknown Device connected

Less than an hour ago, I got an Xfinity notification saying a “misc” device connected to my network. Now, I can’t get anyone on the phone. What should I do next? Is this a sign my internet has been hacked?

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us. If you don't recognize the device, I recommend removing it from your network, and resetting your internet password. You can use the Xfinity App to view and manage the connected devices, or you can also use Xfinity.com to manage the devices that are connected. Is the device connected to your private network, or to the hotspot?
