Dangerous exterior cable
I’ve been trying for 2 weeks to get a technician to show up at my house to fix the exterior wiring owned by Xfinity in front of my house. It is a dangerous condition with loose wires from past Xfinity/Comcast installs hanging and blowing around in the wind, and meanwhile I’m being charged for internet service I cannot connect to. I have been told multiple times I have an appointment but no one shows up or makes any attempt to contact me. I have spent countless hours in your call centers on phone and chats, usually resulting in a new appointment and a promise that a technician will actually show up this time, but they never do. This is outrageous. I’m hoping this post gets someone’s attention.

The concern is not "Home Security Devices And Equipment" help related. Topic moved here to the proper help section, and for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello @user_jgd011, and thank you for reaching out with your repair concerns. I appologize you have been having trouble with us coming out to fix it, and you have come to the right place for assistance.
Can you send us a direct message with your full name, name of account holder (if different), and service address please?
To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon (speech bubble)
Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there
- As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list
- An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it

Thanks for confirming that, and I appologize the help so far hasn't been helpful. Construction techs for outside don't contact you as the work they do normally won't require you to be home. When service is down like this, a repair tech goes out first to get services working, and puts in the work order for anything additional needed outside. They were putting in work orders for outside first which were incomplete given they weren't the at home techs fixing the service first. I'll get this done for you, and follow up all the way until service is working and outside work is completed as well. We prefer to keep in touch with you here until all concerns you reached out about are addressed.
Let's start with getting the correct appointment in place to restore services. Can I get the best contact number for techs to reach you at when they are on site?

I get that, and they will do their best to get them out of the way until the outside techs come to fix them. The repair tech will notate everything remaining once they restore service. They may need to replace some completely while on site.
