Damage to my property by xfinity

The people laying the fiber line cut into our sewer line and had to dig a 3ft by 3ft hole into our paved driveway to try and correct it. We had to stay gone ALL DAY after my baby had to get shots from the dr, so a day spent screaming in the car, gas wasted, had to eat out multiple times for the toddler, and our driveway is still unusable and because of the equipment we can’t even street park near our house, again with a toddler. We need a written guarantee on the repairs to be done to both our driveway and sewer line. We should also get additional compensation for the damages. Theirs is literally just a giant hole in our driveway and the team working said it would be weeks before it could be paved. We’re also not even customers, we have other internet and after this mess I don’t know that I’m interested in xfinity unless they make this right. We’ll be telling everyone we know to stay away. This is unacceptable and puts us in a dangerous position if there was an emergency with our baby.

edited to add: the “temporary fix” is still a 6 inch deep (in some spots hole in the middle of our driveway.)

Hello @user_65817c, I really appreciate you taking the time to create such a detailed post regarding your damage complaint. I can only imagine how frustrating this must be, but you've come to the best team for help. It sounds like there might already be a damage ticket submitted for your driveway, so everything should go under that same ticket. I see you created out privately as well, so I look forward to working with you there since we will need some specific information to track down that ticket.
