Damage done to pool line when cable was buried

A few weeks ago an Xfinity contractor was here to bury a cable.  Two days ago, we opened our in ground pool.  The pool won’t hold water.  The only place there is any dampness in the yard , is right where the cable was buried.

My pool contractor will be here tomorrow to do pressure checks and assess damage.

How do I proceed so that Xfinity covers the repairs.

thank you,
