Damage Complaint

Had a lightning strike nearby. Damaged my tv and other devices that were hard wired. Nothing to do with power since the lights didnt flicker nor was anything tripped. Took a look at the outside lines and nothing was grounded at all.  Have pictures.  Filed a damage claim months ago.  Was jerked around and lied to that someone was working on my claim.  It was closed today with no phone calls/emails from anybody from Xfinity.  I guess I have to go to court now and post my pictures all over the internet to get a real resolution on this.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_bxf2da thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I definitely understand the frustration with the ticket getting closed and never hearing from the damage claim team. I'm glad our wonderful Forum expert @EG was able to bring your post to my attention. Our team does partner with local technician leadership teams, and would like to investigate the damage claim further and help.

I'll need to gather some information that we don't want here in our public conversation. Could you please send our team a direct message with your full name and full address?

To send a direct message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

• Click the "Direct Message chat" icon

• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window, please add your full name and address

• Press Enter to send it
