Damage claim

I have been an Xfinity customer for over a decade. I had to open a damage claim on August 29, 2024, because Xfinity had to bury a new Internet cable to fix my Internet problem. The company they hired cut through the electric line to my wells pump house that fed water to my house and my renters house. it has been 46 days and I have made multiple phone calls to Xfinity but nobody can tell me where my refund is. I spent over $3000 and my rental income has been affected because of this. They closed my ticket one time due to technical issues , but then they reopened it. I am considering suing Xfinity for my refund and loss of income because of the damage. I have been told multiple times that somebody from Xfinity would call me about the damage claim but in 46 days I have not received one phone call.  What should I do? Nobody at this company is able to help me and it is very frustrating. I was told it would take 14 days for my refund to be submitted yet. We are on day 46 and nobody from this company knows what is going on.

Today is November 26, 2024. It has been 86 days scenes my damage claim of over 3,000.00 was opened. Xfinity hired a company to bury a new internet line at my house and they cut the underground power cord to my wells water pump to my house and my rental house. I was told it would take up to 14 days to be reimbursed for the damage they caused. No one at Xfinity can answer my questions on why it is taking so long. The people who monitor this feed seemed like they wanted to help resolve this issue but I have giving them all the info they have asked for but still no help. I think xfinity is hoping I forget about it. It’s a shame that they treat their long time customers this way. Be careful if you are considering being an Xfinity customer. They say they care about you business and then they treat their customers this way. If I didn’t have the savings in the bank to fix this problem, I would have been out 6,000.00 more dollars in rental loss because I can’t expect a tenant to pay rent for a house without running water. I was told by the people who monitor this feed to provide my phone number so they could call me and explain why it’s taking so long. That was 3 weeks ago and still no call. Xfinity makes enough money to reimburse me for the damage to my property but they just won’t even though they said they will. They have stolen all of my savings in this process and they DO NOT care. BUYERS BEWARE!!!!!!!!!
