damage claim
A comcast sub contractor dug 3 large holes in my front yard to replace a line for Comcast. During the work they broke my sprinkler line, filled in the holes and left. In addition to both cable boxes on the street being left open with wires exposed, the temporary orange cable has laid in my yard and down the street for 2 months and it cost me $150 to repair my sprinkler system. I would like to file a damage claim and would also request that comcast return to bury the cables and close the boxes properly. This work was not requested by me nor did it anything to do with my service

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to actual Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Good morning @user_ccad17 this definitely isn't the experience that we want for you as our valued customer! I would be happy to help with this damage claim and is coordinating a line bury for you. Line buries can be delayed in the winter months if conditions for digging are not adequate as the ground may have frozen over. Please follow the instructions below to reach us via peer-to-peer messenger and we'll collect all relevant data from you needed to submit this escalation.
To send a "Peer to peer" ("Private") message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
• Click the "Peer to peer chat" icon
• Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
• Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
• Press Enter to send it
