Cut wire hanging low from pole

Tree work was being done in the neighborhood and the truck caught a line. Now the line is cut and hanging at the pole. This is a safety hazard. Called and was told a tech would be at my house in 5 days.  This needs to be taken more seriously and dispatching a tech should be sooner to repair the issue.

this is causing an outage at my home as well. Cannot wait 5 days to repair a line that is hanging low on the street

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Greetings, @cscopa! I hope your week has been treating you well. Thanks so much for taking a moment out of your busy day to leave a post on our community forum about this damaged line. You have definitely come to the right place for assistance.

If you could send our team a direct message with your full name, the name listed on the account (if different), and the service address associated with your account, I'd be more than happy to look into this for you.

To send a Direct Message, please click on the “Direct Message” (speech bubble) icon in the top-right corner of the screen, then the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. In the section, type or select "Xfinity Support" and type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send your message and initiate a live session.

Thank you for getting back to me, @cscopa. Our good friend, @BruceW, created this excellent explanation for us!

To send a private message to Xfinity Support from any Forum page:

• Click "Sign In" (if necessary - there will be a visible prompt)

• Click the "Direct Messaging" (square speech bubble) icon

• Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon

• The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.

• As you are typing, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

• An "Xfinity Support" graphic should replace the "To:" line

• Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

• Press Enter to send it

See https://forums.xfinity.com/conversations/guidelines/how-to-direct-messaging-within-the-forum/697ba1e570934d009185c514 for an example.
