Hello, @user_bz3ir5 - Sorry to hear you're running into error APPS-04036 with Paramount+! Since standard power cycling (unplugging the TV, box, and Wi-Fi) didn't resolve the issue, this error code typically points to a temporary data cache discrepancy or an authentication handshake issue on the box itself. Here are a few targeted steps to try:

Clear Local App Data:

- Press the Xfinity / Home button on your remote and go to Settings (gear icon).

- Navigate to Privacy > Clear Local App Data.

- Confirm the prompt to clear the data. Your TV box will take a moment to process this and reset app-specific cached files. (Note: You may need to sign back into Paramount+ afterward.)

Run a System Refresh:

- Press the Voice button on your Xfinity Remote and say "System Refresh", or go to Settings > Device Settings > System Refresh.

- Select Refresh Now. This takes about 5 to 10 minutes and re-syncs your TV box's entitlements and system credentials with our backend servers without wiping your settings.

Check Subscription Entitlements:

- If you subscribe to Paramount+ directly through us, make sure your account status is active by navigating to Apps > Manage Apps or checking your subscriptions menu on the box to re-link your provider credentials.

If the error persists after trying a local app data clear and a system refresh, it likely indicates a temporary backend signal drop or an outage with the Paramount+ app build, and an agent here can take a closer look at your box's signal levels! Just let us know how the above checks go when you get a chance :)

Nothing worked.  I did the app clear. I put all the data again, did a refresh and still  the Paramount app does not work.

Thank you for confirming that you completed those steps. Since clearing the local app data and completing the System Refresh did not resolve the APPS-04036 error, your experience aligns with a known Paramount+ issue our engineers are already investigating.

At this point, there aren’t any additional troubleshooting steps we need you to complete. Thankfully, our awesome engineering team is actively working to get this resolved as quickly as possible. We appreciate your patience and partnership while they continue working on a solution.

How will I know when this is resolved?

There isn’t an estimated resolution date or an automatic notification that will be sent once this is resolved @user_bz3ir5. Once our engineers have implemented a solution, the Paramount+ app should begin working normally again without any additional troubleshooting needed on your end. We appreciate your patience while our engineering team continues working on the issue.
