Customer Service
Three days have gone by now that I have no TV service. Twice I went to my Leominster, Massachusetts Xfinity store to exchange cable TV boxes. Drove a total of 80 miles for nothing. Both times I waited in line for over an hour. Both times I was given the WRONG box. Customer service in that particular store is horrible. Agent did not even address the questions I had for him. Acted like he didn't know or didn't want to be bothered. Called Xfinty customer service and they hooked me up with the "advanced technical department." Agent sent me out supposedly the correct box. Received it yesterday and he sent me an old XG2 box that does not support 4k. Why would he do that? He also said I could go on line and print a pre-paid shipping label to return my equipment. Went on line to create a shipping label and since the XG2 box wasn't listed on my account, I was unable to create a label. Futhermore, none of the Xfinity equipment that I rent is listed on my om-line account. Additionally Xfinity website is terrible. Very user unfriendly to find anything. Equipment return option does not even appear on their website. Have to go to a special website. Totally ridiculous! It is horrible that when a customer calls Xfinity, you cannot speak with a live person until after they send you through the terribly ridiculous troubleshooting circus that most never works. Plus most of the time you get an international agent that you can hardly or never understand because of the language barrier. So today after speaking with the "advanced technical department," they are supposedly sending out two 4k X1 boxes that I hope get my two TVs back up. And now the only way that I can return the wrong equipment is to drive another 40 miles round trip to the Xfinity Leominster, MA store and face that circus again. Please Xfinity...you really need to get your act together!

Good morning @user_fjkd4i, and thank you for taking the time to post about your recent experiences today. I'm very sorry to hear that you've had these issues, and hopefully the two boxes being sent out can resolve your issue. If you have a UPS store near you, you can drop the boxes off there instead of going to the XFINITY store. You'll just need to have them boxed up, no return label needed. If there is anything that our team can assist you with today, please let us know.
