Customer Service to change plan

Does anyone know if Xfinity employees at a physical store can help with a plan change (going from cable/internet to internet only)?  We all know that this cannot be done online, via our own accounts.. Calling is an absolute nightmare.  I've also tried the direct messages via this site.  That's just as agonizing.  (After DAYS of back and forth I was sent an agreement via email...google warned me that the email was a scam and not to click the link).

So- Wondering if face to face is a possible option.  Or, is the store employee going to make me call 'customer service' while at the store.   Nothing would surprise me at this point.

@user_a18b30 If you need assistance can you please send a direct message with your name and complete service address?

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or https://comca.st/3EqVMu7

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

 - As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

 - An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

Press Enter to send it

I no longer work for Comcast.
