Customer Service representative Recommending AT&T over Xfinity
I have called Xfinity customer care[Edited: "Personal Information"], as my internet is not working. It got picked up by someone, who told me there is an internet outage in my area and also changed my xfinity account password (without informing me). I got an email, due to which I came to know of it. I asked him about the new password, but the call got disconnected.
I tried to reconnect and this time a guy named "Marc [Edited: "Personal Information"]" (made out name) picked up the call and started asking me where I am based of. I refused to answer that, as it was not a necessary information.
Then I asked him about the password and he was being rude and argumentative and told me to visit Xfinity store. I asked him to let me speak to his manager. Then he said below statements:
"I am the owner of the company".
"Why do you use 'sasta' (cheap in English) Wifi go for AT&T".
Is this all expected from Xfinity customer service? This was such a horrible experience.
A customer service representative job is to represent the company, resolve customer issues and maintain customer relationship. Not directing the customers to a competitor by saying Xfinity is a cheap network and rather use AT&T.
Very disappointed with the customer service.
