customer service -Need someone to actually be helpful

I'm trying to get new Xfinity Internet service installed for my elderly parents. Their home needs a technician visit because we have not been able to activate the service ourselves. We need a tech to run the line from the power pole to the house which we cannot do.

Unfortunately, we've now had three failed technician appointments:

  1. Appointment #1: The technician arrived approximately 45 minutes before the scheduled appointment window. My husband and I were on our way to the house to assist my elderly parents, but unfortunately the technician was sent away before we arrived since he told them he would have to drill in thru the power box on the house (it's a cinder block house).
  2. Appointment #2: The technician attempted to arrive approximately two hours before the scheduled window. We could not be there that early. The appointment was then canceled without us requesting or being notified of the cancellation.
  3. Appointment #3: We were scheduled again for today at 10am. The Xfinity website initially indicated the technician would arrive within approximately 30 minutes, while the automated phone system said the technician was delayed until 5–7 PM. After trying unsuccessfully to reach someone for clarification, I learned that this appointment had also been canceled. The driver showed up (we saw them outside the window driving away) but did not ever come to the door. There was 4 people inside within 10' of the door so we would have definitely heard them knocking. We did not request the cancellation.

I escalated the issue by phone again today, and we now have a fourth technician appointment scheduled for Monday morning.

At this point, we've made multiple trips to my parents' home specifically to meet Xfinity technicians (2hrs RT), and I am very confident that Monday's appointment will also be canceled or attempted outside the scheduled window.

Could an Xfinity employee please review the appointment history and technician/dispatch notes, confirm that Monday's appointment is active, and help ensure that the technician arrives during the scheduled appointment window?

I am happy to provide the account holder's name, service address, account information, and my contact number privately.

Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Thank you! I need all the help I can get. I've never dealt with such incompetence. It's staggering.
