Customer Service Hold Times

What is up with the Xfinity Call In, talk to a live agent service?  I was told it would be 2 minutes and I was put on hold for 1 hour!!!After being a long term customer for 30+ years, I am considering reducing my plan with Xfinity due price increases and now with the lack of customer service, they are making my decision very easy!

Usually the recording says that if there's a long wait, it will call you back without losing your place in line.  (Even so, they call back 1-2 hours later!)

This morning, the recording said the wait time is 10 minutes and didn't offer call back.  It's been a long 10 minutes, lol.  It's been 1 hour 25 minutes!!!

You can also google "schedule call back Xfinity" and it will take you to their webpage.  As of this morning, the earliest times available start tomorrow.

How did it come to be that Xfinity has a monopoly in its industry?  Thinking about switching to streaming and leaving Xfinity, which I have at 4 of our properties.

Any others extremely frustrated with Xfinity?  Please share your experiences.
