Customer Service Cancelled My Account and Deal

First, I’m sorry if this is the incorrect place to file this complaint. I’ve never done anything like this before.

Long story short, I signed up for XFinity WiFi in August. I was given the $50 for 1Gig deal. I am relocating to a new apartment and I called to get my services transferred. The agent on the phone began trying to sell me on getting the phone plan, I declined. He then mentioned that I qualified for a special regarding 2Gigs. Since I am a gamer and streamer, I told him I’d do that deal. He sent me a link and had me agree to the update. Afterwards, he tries to transfer my services and realizes that the new place I’m moving to doesn’t have the capacity for the 2Gigs. I say that’s fine and I’ll just keep the 1Gig. He sends me another agreement but the agreement says that I will be paying $70 for 1Gig when I was just paying $50. When I asked him, he told me that because he updated my profile I forfeited the $50/deal. I would’ve never done that had I known I wasn’t going to get the 2Gig. I asked for a supervisor and he put me on hold for 20 minutes. He comes back on the line and tells me that he cancelled my account since I’m moving. I NEVER authorized him to do that and I was very upset. So of course his supervisor comes on the line and says “You’re account has been cancelled so there’s nothing I can do.” I was even more upset. I’ve never felt so thrown to the side before. I don’t remember the initial agent’s name but the supervisors name was Amy and I just think my situation was highly mismanaged.

Again, if this is the wrong channel, I do apologize but I really wanted to at least say something.
