Customer Service at a store in Branford, CT

I have been a Comcast/Xfinity customers for years.  I have never encountered the disrespect that I received at your Branford store.  I had to purchase a new phone because my old phone had a virus.  That process went fine and I walked out of the store happy with the service and a new phone.  However, when I was home, I tried to use my SIMS feature.  I discovered that my messages were not transferred to my new phone.  I was very, very unhappy.  I went back to the store but was assisted by someone else.  I explained the situation.  He shrugged and said I would have to use my old phone to get my old texts and navigate between the 2 phones.  I asked why my old texts were not transferred.  He said it was not possible to transfer them.  Then I asked him about a couple of emails I received from Xfinity.  I did not understand them.  The agent took one look at them and said it was a Goggle issue.  But they were sent by Xfinity.  I tried to again ask for help  At that point he would not look at me and just spent the next few minutes scrolling on his phone.  He made me feel terrible and definitely offered no help.  I went home and called Customer Service and was connected to a wonderful person who solved the issue in about 10 minutes.  It involved using my 2 phones and the APP, Smart Switch.  So easy and the messages appeared on my new phone.  Why the man in the store could not give me this information is a real puzzle.  Isn't he supposed to know about this?  Why did he brush me off and offer no real assistance.  If I have to go to an Xfinity store again, I will definitely find another store (although this will be inconvenient) to get help when needed.  So this is the way your staff in stores is taught to work with customers?
