Customer service / account issue

Formal Complaint and Request for Immediate Escalation

Dear Xfinity Customer Service / Executive Escalations Team,

I am submitting a formal complaint regarding a serious account-access and customer service issue that has left my Xfinity account suspended and prevented me from being able to access or pay my Internet bill.

In April, we moved to a new address and verified and confirmed our change of address with Xfinity at that time. Despite this, my Xfinity account is now incorrectly showing our old address. This appears to have created an account-access issue that no one at Xfinity has been able to resolve.

At this point, I am completely locked out of my account. I cannot log in through either the Xfinity app or the Xfinity website. I have also attempted repeatedly to contact Xfinity by phone, but the automated AI system refuses to connect me with someone who can actually resolve the issue. I have tried calling multiple times and have provided different explanations and responses to the automated system, but I continue to be prevented from receiving meaningful assistance from a representative.

I have also gone into an Xfinity store for assistance, only to be told that the store is unable to resolve the issue. I am therefore being passed from one channel to another with no available method of accessing my account or speaking with someone capable of correcting the underlying problem.

This has now become particularly serious because my account has been suspended, and I have no reasonable way to pay my Internet bill. I cannot access my account to make a payment, I cannot log in through the app or website, I cannot obtain adequate assistance by phone, and the Xfinity store has told me they cannot help.

I want to make it very clear that I am willing and able to pay my bill. The problem is that Xfinity's account and customer service systems are preventing me from accessing my account and making that payment. It is unreasonable for my service to be suspended when I have repeatedly attempted to resolve the issue and have been unable to do so because of an apparent error or unresolved issue within Xfinity's systems.

I am requesting the following immediately:

  1. Escalate this matter to a supervisor or executive-level customer service/escalation team.

  2. Correct the incorrect address associated with my account and ensure that my current address is properly reflected throughout Xfinity's systems.

  3. Restore my online account access through both the Xfinity app and website.

  4. Provide me with a reliable way to speak directly with a representative who has the authority and ability to resolve this issue.

  5. Immediately review and restore my suspended Internet service, given that the inability to make payment is directly related to my inability to access my account or obtain assistance from Xfinity.

  6. Provide a reasonable method for me to make my payment without requiring access to the locked account.

  7. Review my account for any late fees, penalties, service interruptions, or other charges resulting from this situation and remove anything that resulted from Xfinity's inability to correct the account-access problem.

  8. Provide written confirmation once the issue has been fully resolved.

I have already made multiple attempts to resolve this through the normal customer service channels and in person. Those attempts have failed. I am therefore specifically requesting that this complaint be escalated beyond the standard automated customer service process.

Please do not simply direct me back to the automated phone system, the website, the app, or an Xfinity store. Those are precisely the channels I have already attempted and none has provided a solution.

I need Xfinity to take ownership of this issue, restore access to my account, provide a way for me to pay my bill, and restore my service without further delay.

Please treat this as a formal complaint and urgent escalation and provide me with a case/reference number and a clear point of contact for follow-up.

I expect a prompt response and resolution.

Sincerely, a long time Xfinity customer .
