Customer Reward Program.... scam?

I have received the same popup 3 days in a row now on both my work and home laptops.  I've tried blocking it, but I still receive it.  Seems fishy to me.

10/15/24 -- I am seeing the same thing over the past week when using my Comcast/Xfinity webmail.  Bogus "Xfinity Rewards Program" pop-up appears out of nowhere. Closing browser and clearing cache does not solve the issue. Virus scans turn up negative. Comcast really needs to resolve this.

BTW - I am using MS Edge, Windows 11. I update virus definitions and do full scans everyday too.

I'm having this same issue, but on the Weather Channel website. It's been happening everything time I open it for the past several days.

I've been having similar issues to others on this thread. For me, it was always when using Comcast webmail.

About a week ago I adjusted my settings in MS Edge. After turning on "Enhanced Security Mode" I am no longer getting the pop-up.  Fingers crossed the pop-ups don't return.

Hope this helps.

I just got a pop up from "xfinity" and I have a very good antivirus program.  Why?

I don't use Comcast mail so they sent me a notice they were going to close the email address. I logged into the account on this computer for the first time to prevent it being abandoned. Deleted all the useless bill notifications that had accumulated over the years and closed it again. That was yesterday.

Today I am receiving the popup on the dailymail...... I visit ESPN frequently but no sign of it on there.

Running Mac mini with Safari.. clearly this is a Comcast email issue that worms its way into browser and picks a site to show up on. Really shouldn't be that hard for Comcast techs to sort out.

Same problem started on my system too after I logged into Xfinity email a few days ago.

I received a Text message from Xfinity about requiring to login to my email or else they will close the account.

I am on MacOS and Safari.
